I am a landscape and figurative painter, who enjoys conversing in paint using a plethora of medium, from encaustic to oils to pastel and everything in between. (Does that make me multi-lingual?) Painting is the way I connect with my creator God. I paint to understand and I paint to give Him thanks.
I studied at Otis/Parsons College of Art, and completed my education at Loyola Marymount University. After working in The White House, I returned to California, married and raised three pretty spectacular kids.
I enjoy my practice of completing a painting a day for the past six years(no misses) and when I am not teaching art, I am working on my bigger/deeper conversations. I hope that you join me.
