LORE'S BIOGRAPHY


 Lore Martin Hold a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is a plein air impressionist, portrait and studio artist based in Newport Beach California.  Lore is a lifetime artist who has always had a passion for art.  She is interested in drawing, painting in oil and watercolors.  Lore has studied with famous California water colorist Roger Armstrong, who introduced Lore to the impressionist style.  After a time painting watercolors, and oils in studio, Lore expanded into plein air oil painting and discovered her new passion.  Over the years she has had the opportunity to study with many prominent and admired artists, which has further developed her knowledge and style.

California Art Club, Laguna Plein Air Painters Association (LPAPA), various charitable Auctions and Fundraisers.
