Meet Our Newest Member at Seaside Gallery - Lesa Vander Bie, Fine Artist

Our small business collective of talented artists, designers, makers and curators is pleased to welcome Fine Artist, Lesa Vander Bie into our fold here at Seaside.

Lesa has had a long journey as an artist, continuously honing her creative skills, pushing her boundaries and perfecting her craft.

She hails from a long family line of creatives and initially immersed herself in the Performing Arts through ballet, acting and professional vocal and voiceover work, performing in television commercials, films, and theatre. Following her academic studies in Psychology at UC Irvine and Chapman University, she also opened up her own thriving private Counseling Practice and continues to enjoy helping others heal, build healthy relationships and create fulfilling lives of their own.

Her Father's passing in 2013 led her to try watercolor painting as a way to process her grief. A period of continued growth through a special mentorship brought oils to her artist's palette. She says her intro to oil painting was eye opening in that creatively she found her "language".
